People of Kırklareli Do Not Want a Thermal Power Plant: “We Want to Leave a Beautiful Tomorrow for Our Children”

Mehmet Siyam Kesimoğlu, Mayor of Kırklareli is against the thermal power plant planned to be built in Kırklareli’s countryside: “We will never let this plant to be constructed. We want to leave a beautiful future for our children.”

Indicating that a thermal power plant would cause water, soil and air pollution, Kesimoğlu says they would never let any attempt to make this world more polluted: “We will work together with villagers, NGOs and other mayors to prevent this construction.”
