Checks and Balances Network has prepared a report in which the opposition parties' reform suggestions for the transition to a strengthened parliamentary system are assessed over balance and monitoring criteria.

In its report titled Checks and Balances Assessment of Suggestions for the Transition to a Strengthened Parliamentary System, Checks and Balances Network assesses the opposition parties’ suggestions for a strengthened parliamentary system over balance and monitoring criteria. The report will be updated according to the suggestions of the parties so that citizens can see, discuss and follow the suggestions of different political parties regarding the constitutional amendment together and in an understandable way. At the first stage the report presents the extended parliamentary system suggestions of the Future Party and Good Party with the titles of effective accountability, merit-based legislation, effective legislation in terms of law-making and auditing, independent, free and effective civil society, independent and impartial judiciary, independent and free media and effective and strong local government.
