State Council Issued a Stay of Execution to Urgent Expropriation in Munzur

State Council issued a stay of execution to urgent expropriation of Munzur Valley. Decision of expropriation was made in order to be able to build hydroelectric power plants in the Valley.

Stay of Execution was issued due to environmental impact assessment report’s being contradictory to National Parks Law and principal of proportionality.
