Women Protested against Child Murders

Women gathered together in Kadıköy, Istanbul to protest against child murders and demanded the full enforcement of the Convention on the Rights of Children.

From their press statement:

“We act for children and we will make them live. We demand the establishment of preventive mechanisms which children can contact of in case of abuse or violence; we demand the prevention against any kind of legitimization of abuse, rape, child or woman murders. We want safe parks, nurseries and care centers and full enforcement of Istanbul Convention.”
