Electronic Waste Gets Recycled into Education

The Foundation of Educational Volunteers in Turkey (TEGV) has started a project called “Don’t Throw Away, Donate” with the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and Informatics Industry Association (TÜBSİAD).

By this project, unused electronic devices are sent to a recycling company. Unserviceable devices are registered as donations, while other devices are kept to use in TEGV’s events and activities.
