“Give a Hand to the Future” Campaign from the Red Crescent

The Red Crescent in Turkey has started a campaign called “Give a Hand to the Future”.

Along with providing financial aid to students in regional boarding elementary schools, it is also aimed to supply schools with educational equipments and devices, provide support for clothing, internet access, and free additional classes and increase nutrition options. The Red Crescent will supply students in need with the cooperation of the Ministry of National Education.

Anyone who wants to donate can reach the Red Crescent’s donation accounts, Turkish Post Office centers, Red Crescent offices, www.kizilay.org.tr or dial 168. It is also possible to write an SMS saying “BAĞIŞ” and send it to 2868. It costs 10 Turkish liras.
