According to “The Guideline for Understanding Turkey”, We Were Happier in the Past

According to the results of IPSOS’s survey called “The Guideline for Understanding Turkey”, 76% of the people in Turkey think they were happier in the past.

“The Guideline for Understanding Turkey” was carried out in 34 cities and 15 thousand 918 hundred people joined it. Some highlights from the survey:

-Three of four people feel nostalgic in Turkey.

-44% of the population never goes to cinema.

-68% of the population chooses to stay home to be safe from outside world’s dangers.

-72% of the population spends their free time in shopping malls. Time spent in shopping malls is three hours on average.

-35% of the population never reads.

-64% of the population has never been to a concert, theater play or opera.

-63% of the population is householders.
