 Two new decree-laws issued under state of emergency on December 24^th, 2017. These laws include articles about abolition of legal, administrative, financial and criminal liabilities of people who helped repressing the coup attempt on July 15^th, 2016.

Turkish Industry and Business Association made a statement regarding the issue:

“Arrangements in the last decree laws are of particular concern to a wide range of people in the society. Such open-ended regulations can cause inappropriate consequences with regards to the principles of a law state. These regulations are open to be violated and used with different intentions which can affect the peace among our society.”
