Nature preservation activists did not let the Governorate of Edirne to hold EIA (environmental impact assessment) meeting about SAROS BOTAŞ FSRU Sazlıdere Harbor and Pipeline Project.

The project involves a 270 square meters pier between Sazlıdere (the most precious land of the area) and Gökçetepe. Liquid natural gas would be carried by huge ships and distributed by a pipeline built in the forest. Nature activists say this is the start of the end of Saroz Gulf.

Nature activists and citizens of Keşan protested and did not let organizers to hold the informative meeting.
