CLIMATE CRISIS, TRANSFORMATION, and OUR SHARED FUTURE

How should we talk about and communicate this transformation and just transition?

We are pleased to invite all relevant stakeholders to our online event organized as part of the Communication Roadmap for Just Transition in Türkiye project.

Jointly organized by YADA Foundation and Climate Alliance, the event will feature:

• Key findings from our research on just transition in Türkiye,
• Experiences and good practices gathered during our study visit to Germany,
• The draft Just Transition Communication Strategy and Communication Guide that we are currently developing.

Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute to the communication strategy and guide through thematic breakout discussions focusing on gender, labor, youth, and international perspectives.

To accommodate different schedules, the event will be held in two identical sessions on Thursday, 30 July 2026. Participants are welcome to attend whichever session is most convenient for them.

Session 1: 2:00–3:30 PM (Germany Time / CEST, UTC+2)

Session 2: 6:30–8:00 PM (Germany Time / CEST, UTC+2)

Simultaneous interpretation in Turkish and English will be provided throughout the event.

About the Project

This event is organized within the framework of the Communication Roadmap for Just Transition in Türkiye project, implemented by YADA Foundation with the support of GIZ, aiming to strengthen communication on the climate crisis, transformation, and just transition processes in Türkiye. The German-Turkish Climate Partnership: Strengthening Civil Society for Climate Action Project, implemented under GIZ’s Climate Diplomacy Action Programme, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN) and funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI), seeks to support climate change mitigation, adaptation efforts, and policy influence by mobilizing change agents for climate action and strengthening civil society networks at both the national and bilateral levels in Germany and Türkiye.

This event is part of a project funded under the International Climate Initiative (IKI), supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN). İKLİM KRİZİ, DÖNÜŞÜM ve ORTAK GELECEK

Bu dönüşümü ve adil geçişi nasıl konuşmalı, nasıl anlatmalıyız?

Tüm ilgili paydaşları Türkiye’de Adil Geçiş için İletişim Yol Haritası projesi kapsamında düzenleyeceğimiz çevrim içi etkinliğimize davet ediyoruz. YADA Vakfı ve Climate Alliance ortaklığında gerçekleştireceğimiz bu etkinlikte;

• Türkiye’de adil geçişe ilişkin yürüttüğümüz araştırmadan öne çıkan gözlemleri,
• Almanya çalışma ziyaretinden edinilen deneyim ve iyi uygulama örneklerini,
• Hazırladığımız Adil Geçiş İletişim Rehberi taslağını paylaşacağız.

Etkinlikte ayrıca katılımcılar toplumsal cinsiyet, emek, gençlik ve uluslararası deneyimler başlıklarında gerçekleştirilecek tematik tartışma oturumlarında bir araya gelerek iletişim stratejisi ve rehberine katkı sunma fırsatı bulacaklar.

30 Temmuz 2026, perşembe günü düzenleyeceğimiz etkinlikte, katılımcıların farklı programlarına uyum sağlayabilmek amacıyla etkinliği aynı içerikle iki ayrı oturum halinde gerçekleştireceğiz. Dilediğiniz oturumu tercih edebilirsiniz.

Etkinlik boyunca Türkçe–İngilizce simultane çeviri sağlanacaktır.

Proje Hakkında: Bu buluşma, GIZ tarafından desteklenen YADA Vakfı’nın Türkiye’de iklim krizi, dönüşüm ve adil geçiş süreçlerine yönelik iletişimi güçlendirmeyi amaçlayan projesi kapsamında gerçekleştirilmektedir. Alman Federal Çevre, İklim Eylemi, Doğa Koruma ve Nükleer Güvenlik Bakanlığı (BMUKN) tarafından görevlendirilen ve Uluslararası İklim Girişimi (IKI) tarafından finanse edilen, GIZ’in İklim Diplomasisi Eylem Programı kapsamında uygulanan Alman-Türk İklim İş Birliği: İklim Eylemi için Sivil Toplumun Güçlendirilmesi Projesi, Almanya ve Türkiye’de iklim eylemi için değişim aktörlerini harekete geçirerek, hem ulusal hem de ikili düzeyde sivil toplum ağlarını güçlendirmek suretiyle iklim değişikliğinin azaltımı ve uyum çabalarını ile politika üzerindeki etkiyi desteklemeyi amaçlamaktadır.

Bu duyuru, Uluslararası İklim Finansmanı Girişimi (IKI) kapsamında yürütülen bir projenin parçasıdır. Bu girişim, Almanya Federal Çevre, İklim Eylemi, Doğa Koruma ve Nükleer Güvenlik Bakanlığı (BMUKN) tarafından desteklenmektedir. Bu yayında ifade edilen görüşler, Almanya Federal Çevre, İklim Eylemi, Doğa Koruma ve Nükleer Güvenlik Bakanlığı’nın (BMUKN) görüşlerini yansıtmak zorunda değildir.
